July 9th, 2010

Today was the last day for the old interns. Wow...I'm sad actually...because after this, things will start to get hostile. More works will be coming our way, and more even more work will come after that...Hmm...I'm contemplating on how my life would be after this...

So, since it's the last day of those dip-shits, we had a little farewell party organized by the department. They bought two Secret Recipe's cakes, and something curly from Deli France. I'm sorry, I don't know what it is. But it's like a slice of pizza that's been sit on and is now squashed into a cone-like figure. Yeah...sounds nauseating, but it looks a lot better that what I've described though.

Well, that was our evening. In the morning, I went to breakfast with Aqbal and ignored the words of my trainer. Haha. I got back at the office sometime around 9.40. Haha. We sat at the stall, had breakfast, and just chat during the whole time. We talked about our family most of it, and shared our perspectives as children about our parents, and the other family members. Really was a depressing topic, but we were so caught up in it that we lost track of the time. Not a really good way to start the day...

Then, in the office, I continued doing yesterday's work. Actually, it's Tuesday's work, but I still couldn't finish the thing. And, yeah, I still haven't finished it today as well. Haha. But there is a reason for this though. I was asked to help with the West Glagah Kambuna block again. This time was to highlight the economics indicators from each prospect to be presented to the management and the project team. There were errors though. The Capex for each differed from one another, but the exploration wells were in total the same. Therefore, there's obviously something wrong somewhere.

Well, that was that, and I've already told you what happened in the evening. Now, I'll tell you what happened on the way home. The train was stuck! Damn. There was a sea of people at the station. And there was no-fucking-way we were gonna get in any train in the next hour or so. Therefore, we went out and watched the water fountain at the park. Sigh... But then, afterward, when it was starting to rain, we went inside and met with a whole bunch of people. Here's a list; first, Mr. Sanif with someone from UTP, Kaber seems to know him, I don't, then, Fauzan from UTP, and then, Mr. Sanif with a different batch of students. Haha. Owh, and we chatted with Fauzan at Rasa foodcourt for almost two hours. Haha. In conclusion, today was a day to catch-up with old friends, and to say goodbye to new friends... Wow, the way I say these words makes me feel like I'm already 70 and dying...

That was my day then. Owh, Stef didn't come to work today, so, another reason why this way a bad day to live... You know, my gut already told me so this morning when I woke up that today was gonna be shitty. Even yesterday was the same. But, I have to go to work though. But at least I've warned Kaber that today was gonna be sad...and it was...

Goodbye...
