June 30th, 2010

Finally, I had my continuation of the six weeks training. It was great, and fast. Didn't even lasted as long as the last one. It took about an hour or so and we were done. But still, Kaber already did the other 2 weeks today as well. Since he was with a different trainer, and since his trainer was free today, so he did his today. Damn...

Mine would start on Friday if everything goes as planned. However, I don't really think it would. But anyways, Kaber still has to wait for me to complete the training. Haha. I'd make his wait count. He'll suffer the torment of waiting endlessly for me to finish my training. Haha.

Anyways, other than that, I did a backtrack of a spreadsheet today as well as part of my training. It was bullshit. Seriously. I was determined if I were to continue reviewing the thing, I'd knock my head against the wall till it breaks; whether the wall or my head, I don't even care. Owh, to clarify, the walls are made of plaster, hence the reason why I said either one would break.

But then, came a savior, my trainer today saved my the headache and gave me a job. It was a continuation of yesterday's. So, saved my head then. Or the wall.

All in all, a fine day indeed. I was really happy at work. Really was. Not something I'd expect by going to work.

So, that was it. My day at work as an intern.

June 29th, 2010

Remember I said yesterday that I'd be undergoing my second part of the training for today? Yeah...it didn't happen...

So today, ladies and gentlemen, I was actually given a job. Kaber was given a job as well, but his job was binding papers. Mine was a bit more proper. Haha. So, the job was almost the same as the previous one before, I had to review abandonment terms in PSCs. It wasn't really hard at first I thought, until I was given the total number of PSCs which I had to go through...it was 20...

Well, actually, it was nine in the morning, and it was due till 2.30, and I did complete it, but then I was left with nothing to do in the evening. So, I read the notes which was given to me today by my trainer. Unfortunately, I fell asleep half way. But it wasn't for long, about 2-3 seconds I think. But the unfortunate thing about that was, my trainer was right next to me when I woke up. Haha. Hence, now I guess you'd understand why the number was up till 20. Haha.

It was fine by me actually, I really was hoping for a job at the time, and it was handed to me even though forcefully, I was willing for it. But the job given was not timely. It was given to me 15 minutes before 5. And as you know, office hours end at 5. So, I stayed back late to settle the thing. Yeah...

But, anyways, it was done, and now I'm a happy man for being able to go home with a free mind. Haha.

See you tomorrow then.

June 28th, 2010

Monday, monday, monday...

So, today? I did 3 weeks of my logbook..not just up till last week, but I've done this week as well. Haha. And tomorrow we're gonna have our continuation of the six weeks training, so, I guess that makes up for next week.

Thus, since I am writing this blog to keep me reminded of what I do each day during my internship for the reference of completing my logbook, and since today all I did was my logbook, therefore, I guess it's time for me to shut up...

June 25th, 2010

Friday...friday...friday...haha

So today, I did nothing in the morning. Usually when I say I did nothing, what I do is I'll read any PSC agreements that I have in store in my computer. So, it's not really doing nothing, I was actually doing something but could be considered as nothing since it's not really work. Anyways, why I'm clarifying that out is because, I actually missed something in my previous assessment for the Natuna Block A PSC. It's a extension PSC, so, there was one clause in which it made reference to the original PSC. And I missed that part. Therefore, it seems that I didn't really perform for my job the other day.

So, that was that. And in the afternoon, we had a department meeting. It was very lengthy. We finished at 6.00. And we actually started the meeting at 2.30. Wow... We interns were introduced in the meeting and so, yeah...that was that as well. Haha. And that was it. My whole day in two paragraphs. Cheers!

June 23rd, 2010

Today, was lonely...and depressing...

Stef smiled at me, I smiled back, but half way I turn away...shit..the next time, she wasn't smiling anymore...

Anyways, back to our main topic; work. Kaber didn't came today, so I was on my own. But I had that job yesterday I need to complete. So, I did that. And what a butt-load-of-bullshit it was. It was a lot of work. Damn. I finished at 4.30. Hence, summarizes that I did only that for the whole day. I didn't even had time to have a bite of cigarette.

But it was fun really. I purposely didn't want to go and smoke actually. It's a contract analysis, hence, it's one of my passion. So, I kind of didn't mind. I even did Kaber's part since he wasn't around. Haha.

So, that was my day. The whole lot of it. Got back home, and my dad was there. It doesn't constitute to anything actually, but I just thought I'd say it. Cherio~

June 22nd, 2010

...not really the best day to live...

sigh...just got back. Really was a tiresome day. And I still have no idea why. Today was fully packed actually. Me and Kaber had another job after we submitted yesterday's. So, time was moving faster than I'd notice. It didn't took long for the day to end. But still, I'm beat. I think it was probably because of the work. I had to read a two PSCs for today and do a summary on the field. It's really educational, but tiresome. I'm brain tired right now actually.

So, that was what I did the whole day. Our next trainer was really busy this week, so she said that our training would probably start next week. That's another reason for depression...there goes another week. We're probably back to doing nothing. Sigh.

This is tiring. Even writing this is tiring. I guess I'm gonna stop now. Chiow.

June 21st, 2010

Ahh...the first day of the week...

It was a wonderful day all together. We finally started on our 6 weeks training. It only covers the basics part of economics, but it was really educating. Our trainer finally found the time to coach us in the afternoon. So, all our questions about economics were clarified. Everything was crystal clear. And we'll continue on the fiscal terms maybe by tomorrow. But we'll have to confirm with our next trainer first.

And, besides that, we were actually given a task today. But we weren't able to finish it. Haha. The first time been given a job, and we blew it. But we do have a valid excuse though. We were in our training. And that's more important than the job. I guess.

However, I did managed to complete mine by the end of the day. But it wasn't really proper since Kaber was the one who got the job actually, and he haven't finished his. So, probably we'll submit it tomorrow.

But in the end, it was a very useful day, a very good start of the week, and we had a really great time. We were drowsy of course. The effect of waking up at 5.30. Haha. But still, time went smoothly fast without us even noticing. Haha.

So that's that, and that's all, ladies and gentlemen. Till tomorrow. Chiow.

June 18th, 2010

Friday again...finally...

The day started with me waking up at 7.00. And damn, I can't say how much I just wish I can skip work today. But alas, it was my father who woke me up. So, I had no other option than to go to work. I don't know why, but I was really tired today.

So since I woke up late, I had to get stuck in traffic. Fortunately there was JJ and Ian with me all through the jam. And I got to the office at 8.30. But even as 'bastardly' as I was, the other two interns didn't even came to work. Shit.

So what did I do today? I have no idea. The only thing I remembered doing that was actually beneficial was jotting down notes about escalation rates. And that was done in the afternoon. After the Friday prayers. Yes, I went to the Friday prayers. I'm not a total devil.

Our trainer for the first part of the six weeks training was still busy, and he said that he'll start next week. So, that meant one thing, we were still idling today. But there was the usual weekly KSS (Knowledge Sharing Session) for the department, so we attended that. It was about the PGSS. We had no idea whatsoever what they were talking about. Haha. But I pretended like I did.

And thus, that was it. We went home early today. The earliest yet. We didn't even got dinner as usual. Kaber wants to shoot somebody in the head today. So, we went straight back home. And here I am now. At home...

June 17th, 2010

Well, for starters, today my dad woke me up. And my only guess is that he was up all night watching football. I'm thinking this because he didn't even gave me time to recollect myself once I've waken up. He just started reviewing yesterday's matches. However...wow...Khune was given a red card. I seriously didn't expect that.

Anyways, today, I got to work early. I didn't even manage to hear the Gotcha Call. Damn. I was really looking forward to today's gotcha. The woman on the phone was really a fighter. I really wanted to hear her getting gotcha. So that was a sign for a bad omen for today. And it really was.

So the day started at work with me having my traditional cigarette at the lobby. And before I went inside, I met Kenit just as he was also entering. We stayed and chat for a while, and we went off our separate ways. He was working on level 4. Unfortunately for him, there were no smoking room on his floor. Pity.

So, after that, I went up, get Kaber, and went down again for breakfast, then we went back up. Once we were back at the office, we had nothing to do. As always.
Owh, but then, since yesterday we didn't manage to sent our ITC-A form back to UTP, so we did that this morning.

So, afterward, I went to my cubicle, and did a 30 years financial plan for myself. Haha. This is pure proof that I have nothing to do at the office. But wait...there's more... By 11.30, since we still had nothing to do, we went for an early lunch, and we went to Danau Kota to play snooker. Haha. Now that is undisputed proof that we had nothing to do at the office.

And by coincidence, Jamil called, while we were playing snooker. And so he came down there with his friend to join us. He was also skipping work. Haha. Thus, shows that we aren't the only bastards in the planet.

By the time we got back to the office, it was already 4.00. I continued doing my 30 year plan, and Kaber went to sleep at his cubicle.

But then, just before we started packing to go back, things started to get interesting. We were in the smoking room at the moment, having our last breather. There were a few Technical Professionals there discussing. They were talking about service providers actually in there, initially. Then suddenly, they related the service providers to whores and mistresses. And then the topic went to the difference between a slut and a whore. And here's a quote from one of them, " A slut fucks everyone else, except you. While a mistress fucks only you, and no one else." Haha. I left before they finished, but Kaber stayed, and he told me afterward that they were then discussing virginity. Haha. One of them were asking the other, "Are you a virgin?", which is actually a ridiculous question since they were all married men. So, the other guy answers, "Not anymore." But then the comeback, "I'm a virgin. Because I've never been penetrated." Haha.

It's really fun in the smoking room. The other day, they were talking about how to download porn from the internet. Haha. The hilarious part of this all is that the topics were discussed by; married men, and experienced professionals. This really is the best department ever. Haha. So, that was my day.

June 16th, 2010

Hmm...it seems yesterday was a one-off thing. I'm back to waking up at 7.00...Damn...

So how was today like? Well, for starters, me and Kaber went to meet our remaining trainers whom we missed yesterday; so that was one achievement. Then we did nothing; one failure. And afterward, Anas asked me to help him out with a remaining resource calculation for three fields, the MLNG 1, MLNG 2, and the SK 307. That's one score for me and none for Kaber. And finally we did our ITC-A form, but didn't manage to get it signed by our supervisor. She was ultimately busy the whole day. Thus, another failure.

And that was basically it. Haha. It's really short when I put it in words. I'm really trying hard to spill-out more that just that, but I can't. I really can't. Haha.

Well, in between those things however, I did manage to read a few notes on Interest and Cash Flow from the study pack. It was the same topic I took back in UTP, so this was more of a refresher than actually learning. But it was fruitful, since I just realized that I've lost so much memory of the topic. Haha. So you could count that as another achievement if you wish. Haha.

Today, we got back early as well. But I was stuck in traffic while trying to get to the Shell station. And the best part is, the road heading back home was clear. Haha. So I had to go through 30 minutes of traffic just to get to the service station. Owh, that wasn't the best part. The best part was when I got there, it was closed. Haha. They were out of gas. And I was afraid that my car would ran out of gas. Never thought that the service station could as well. Haha. So I ended up filling at Subang. Haha. Damn.

June 15th, 2010

You remembered yesterday I said that I could never get to work early, or even on time? Well, today I got to the office early. Even earlier than Kaber. If you are surprised, I'm even more surprised. Haha. And I knew another interesting fact, that there's another Gotcha Call at 7.00. Haha. So today I got to listen to my favorite call of the day, and I got to work early. I even had the time to smoke two butts of cigarettes at the lobby while waiting for Kaber. Haha. And Kaber was in low mood the whole day, probably because of this bad start. Haha. He even said that, "You 'do not' come early. It contradicts with the laws of physics". Haha. Well Kaber, screw you. Haha.

So today I finally got my Staff ID card. Haha. They had to reprint it because they couldn't read my hand writing. And, I got my trainer for the internship period. Haha. What a day. Quite lovely.

So my Trainer is Kak Saz, and Kaber's is Kak Ida. And we'll be starting our six weeks training by tomorrow. Haha. Even lovelier. So my first task from my trainer was to read some reading material until Thursday to get a grasp of what Petroleum Econs is all about. Unfortunately, I've read all of the things she gave me. Haha. So what I did today was learn a bit about Merak PEEP. But the PEEP's modules are unlike the Macknzie's. They're not as 'readable'. You can't really master the software without trying it. Plus, you don't even understand anything just by reading the manual. I'm have to try to get someone to teach me. But still, there would be an official training within the six weeks training. So, I'll probably just try to understand whatever I can for now. We'll see.

So, I believe there was nothing else I did today. Owh, I did get my login ID for Novell. It was given by iPerintis; a different company within PETRONAS. I think they wanted to do a prank on me. You know what they gave me as a login ID? MUJABAM.....WTF???

Anyways, that was really it. Nothing else. I got home early as well. We did nothing after work, save, have dinner. So I got home even before I had to turn on my car lights. Haha. And the sun was still up. And that was it. Till tomorrow then.

June 14th, 2010

Monday...

Well, to me, today really defines the term 'Monday blues'. I think I've slacked-off a bit too much today. Got to work late as always, at 8.30, then went for breakfast, and by the time I got to the office, it was already 9.30. And then, just when I was starting to read some materials on Fiscal Regimes, Kaber and I were made to go to Tower 1, level 11 to get our passes. Ah..finally...the one thing that truly defines an employee in KLCC; the PETRONAS ID card. Haha.

Then, when we got back, the other interns were discussing the specs for computers. Apparently one of them wanted to buy one within this weekend or the next. And as always, both of us find great pleasure discussing about the greatest-invention-ever-made-by-man; the computers. Haha. So we spent the whole afternoon talking about that, and even ended up going to lunch at 2.00. Haha. And everybody knows that when you go to lunch after 2.00, you'd only get back the earliest would be at 3.30. And so did we. Haha. So that was it then.

By the time you get back to the office at 3.30, nobody's working already. Everyone's going around the office and gossiping. And so did the interns. But our discussion was a bit more productive though. They were listening to me giving a speech on the difference between a company and a business. Haha. And as most people who knows me knows, I just love giving speeches. Haha. Hence, that was the end of the day. Though we got off from work at 5.30. Probably I should have kept the speech short. Haha.

Oh, and by the way. Since I've been coming in late everyday, I've studied the flaws of my transportation and traveling problems. There is one specific factor which prevents me from going to work any earlier than 6.45, and that would be because I didn't want to miss the Gotcha Call. Haha. So, for that fact alone, I am doomed to come late to work everyday. Haha. Though, I wouldn't have it any other way. JJ and Ian are the two things that brings a smile on your face every morning while going to work. No matter in whatever situation you're in, they'll always light-up your day. And I believe that reason alone would stand on it's own. It reduces stress and tension of going to work. And you'll get to the office with a smile on your face. Thus, all the reason not to miss it. Haha.

So, that was that. And that's it.

-End of Entry-

Friday, June 11, 2010

June 11th, 2010

Yeah, it's the last day of the week. Finally, something to cheer me up in the weekends. Haha. So what did I do today? Noting much really. I continued studying my notes about the basics of economics. Damn. Even one of those files have a hundred plus slides. And I'm not the kind of guy who likes to just browse through. I'd like to understand what I'm reading. Hence the reason for it to take a few days to complete. And today, I'm proud to say that I finished studying one of those files. Haha. Only one of it - one out of more that 20 files. Haha.

Owh, I was late again today. As previous days. Haha. It's been a week, and I've never came to work on time, let alone early. Haha. And my initial plan was to reach there early and jog myself up the stairs to my office. Haha. But I just realized the stairs aren't used at all in KLCC. I don't even know where it is. But still, if there's an emergency, they would order us to use the stair. And I still don't know where it is. Haha.

Anyways, today was really a short day since it's Friday. With the Friday prayers and the extended lunch break. It was almost pointless to come to work. But you know what, interestingly, the office was full. Kaber asked the other interns, and they said that on Friday everyone would stay in the office. And after lunch they would all sleep at their desk. Haha. I can't deny nor acknowledge that statement. Haha.

However, there was the department weekly meeting this evening. We joined them, which was absolutely a waste of time. They told us it was a sharing session, but I think what their sharing has nothing to do with us interns. They were talking about the KPI, the standard THV and their calculations for the R/C PSC. Which was in the end not decided even among themselves. Haha. Well, in that case, I should have said that the meeeting was practically useless to everyone who came. Haha. But all-in-all, the meeting was interesting to me. Not because of the content, but because I get to see the real people who are working in the same department with me. Haha. TO tell you the truth, it was more like hanging-out at a mamak stall. Even the student's meetings in UTP was quieter. Haha. Even I couldn't organize that kind of havoc. Haha.

Anyhow, at least I got proof that they are really human as everyone else. It was interesting. Really was.

So, as decided, today Kaber went back with me to Kelana Jaya. And we went out to SS15 with Kamal. The first match of world cup was on tonight, so that was what we went for. Followed by a frame of snooker. And I went back afterward. And that's all there is to it.

-End of Entry-

Thursday, June 10, 2010

June 10th, 2010

And again, yes, the day started with me waking up late for work. Damn it. And I thought a week would have given me enough time to reschedule my life. Wrong again it seems. But today, Kaber was late as well. Haha. He entered the train the same time as I did. Haha. He text me and said, "Shit. We're dead." Haha. But I was the one dead actually. Because his train is closer to KLCC than mine. I have 14 stations to get to KLCC from Kelana Jaya. Fuck. Haha. It seems he should be the one laughing.

Anyways, coming late is really nothing. Nobody even realizes or even cares. Because they all came late as well. And they are the actual employees.

So, as always, a cigarette, then I went up and did nothing. We went for breakfast around 9.00. And when we got back, we finally met our supervisor. Haha. It's already the fourth day and we just met our supervisor. It seems that we were both put under the same person. Which actually differs with what we were told on the first day. We were supposed to have a different supervisor respectively. But it seems they've made changes.

So our supervisor was a woman named Zety. I'm hoping that's the correct spelling. But nobody would care anyways. It's not like anyone would even read this piece of shit blog. Haha. Well, that's that. So, Zety explained to us the structure of the department; who is who, what is what, and all the necessary things there is to know about the department and about our training. It was really just a short briefing, or meeting if you'd like to call it so. And afterward I went back to my place and started studying the slides which were given to me since the 1st day.

Alright, so about the slides, they were all about the basics and fundamentals of economics with regards to the petroleum engineering field. The terminologies are all the same. For example, IRR (the Internal Rate of Return), NPV, Depreciation, Taxables, Discount, and what-not. The terms which are exclusive for the Petroleum Engineering in economics would probably be the fiscal terms, acquisition, abandonment, and a few others. It's quite an insight to read such things. Really amusing.

But then I had a call from my uncle at around 11 for a job. And the job requires me to have an access to my mail. So I had to borrow Kaber's Broadband because we don't get internet connection at our computers. And the best part is, Kaber's modem was having problems. So, we had to go down to the Celcom Centre to repair the problem first. Which resulted in him having to change his sim card for the modem. Which then requires half an hour to be updated.

Now, the reason for me to tell you all this would be because of what happened next. We went to watch the A-Team at the cinemas. Haha. The A-Team Rocks, Bebeh! Haha.

So finally we went back to the office at 3.30. Hahaha. I have no other words to comment about that fact. Haha.

I continued reading the slides, and finally left at 5.30. Went to Sungei Wang with Kaber to get his Battlefield Bad Company 2 original game, and went back to my loverly home.

June 9th, 2010

Hahaha. It seems that there was a reason for me to read the Mackenzie manual. Today me and Kaber spent the whole day with a private tutor to learn how to use the product. Haha. Thanks to my efforts for the previous two days, I learned quite easily compared to others today. Haha. They didn't even want to accept the fact that I am an intern. Haha.

But that was the only thing we did today. But it was fun. Really fun.

The training started at 9.00 and finished at 5.30. It touched only on the functionality and the basic tools for using the product. It's quite an interesting product actually. Really is.

What a day. A really nice one indeed. Haha. And I even got back home earlier today. I've already know the perfect route to take to reach home fast and with minimal traffic jam time. Haha. I got home within 30 minutes from the moment I got in the car to the moment I was in my house.

A great ending to a great day.

-End of Entry-

June 8th, 2010.

Fuck. Woke up late, it was already 6.45. I was planning to leave at 6.30. So I washed-up as fast a possible and left. Some time around 7.00 if I'm not mistaken.

Today, I've decided that KTM was not an option - and never will be again. So I drove to Kelana Jaya for the LRT. But today, it seems that God loves me. All the lights were greeen. Haha. Thank you, God. I love you so much.

Since I was using the LRT, so it was a straight shot to KLCC. But please do keep in mind that I was rushing. I got to the station around 7.35. But luckily, I got to KLCC at 8.10. And as always, I had a butt of cigarette first at the lobby. It's kind of a tradition to me, well I can't really say it's a tradition if I've only been doing it for two days, but I'd like it to be so. So I'll be doing it for the rest of my days here I hope.

I got there with the thought that Kaber was already in the office. I tried calling him twice, once when I was driving, the other when I was at the lobby. But neither did he answered. In my mind was thoughts that there was another briefing today and he was already in it. I was seriously fucked-up. Two days straight coming late for work. Not really the impression I'd like to carry.

But once I was up there, there were no signs of him. I asked a few people as well and they said he haven't shown-up yet. I was bedazzled. I never would have thought I would be the one coming to work before him. Haha. And so, I smirked. Keh3.

It was around 8.35, and there were still no signs of him. So I tried sending a text. Didn't really expect a reply from him, but to my surprise, he answered with a call. Haha. He just woke-up. Haha. Yet another reason for a smirk. Keh3.

Kaber came in around 9.30. All nervous and shit. Haha.

However, coming early was not really a big deal. Especially since we still had no work to do. And both our supervisors were still absent. Shit. But the secretary was in. And she was said to have plans for us. Haha. I still wonder who actually spread that nonsense. When we came to introduce ourselves, and after the acknowledges, she asked us why did we came to see her. Haha. And after breakfast, Kaber even went to see her again to ask for work to be done, but there were none. Haha.

So I ended-up reading the Mackenzie module again. And again, I finished the whole thing.

Today was a bit more tiresome than yesterday. I'm guessing the lack of sleep we're having. And probably also because of the elevator in KLCC. It was damn fast and we were experiencing changes in pressure and oxygen level drastically. Truth be told, I seriously could vomit because of the lift there.

So in the end, again, we did nothing.

Oh, but I did read the previous interns logbook as well today. So I learned a bit about the economics field. IRR, NPV, MOD,RT, quite a lot of acronyms in economics. I won't be talking about what they are in here. Confidentiality and stuff. You understand right? Oh and we got our own cubicles as well. Late in the evening. Around 4.30. Haha. At least we have one now. Finally.

So as I was saying, in the end, again, we did nothing. Went back and slept.

But this time I did had some time playing my computer. That was it.

June 7th, 2010

They say that 1st impressions are always incorrect. I do hope they believe it as much as they like to say it..

June 7th; the first day of my internship. To tell you the truth, I was so eager for this day to come as I've been doing nothing for the past year. So I was filled with excitement and joy for this day would not only be the first day of my internship, but also the first day that I'll start putting my life back in order.

I was so excited that I didn't even slept the night before. And not just that, I was even still in UTP that very night. I left UTP at midnight, and went back to KL using the old 'Sg. Buloh - Lumut' road. I reached Kl around 5.30 in the morning - the same morning which I have to report duty at 8.30 a.m.. Hence the reason for me not to sleep that night. Haha.

So around 6.45, I went out to work. I've decided before to take the train all-through my internship period so I only had to drive to the Subang Jaya KTM station. But along the way, I don't understand why does God hate me so much. All the traffic lights were red.

Finally, I reached the station around 7.15, bought a ticket and waited for the train to come. And again, of all the days that God chose to hate me, He chose today. The train was delayed until 8.00.

But I was still in high spirits. My thoughts were still of that nothing would bring me down today. Oh how wrong was I.

So I boarded the train at 8.00, and it started moving. My stop was at KL Central. But exactly before the train reached KL Central, as a matter of fact, it was in between KL Central and the station before it, the train stopped. The damn train stopped for a whole 30 minutes. And it was already 8.30 by then.

My anger was starting to build-up, but I still kept my calm.

Finally, I got to KL Central around 9.00, and my journey was still halfway through - I still had to take the LRT.

But the LRT was much more decent. And the people on them were much more civilized. I am not certain how is that even possible. It was like a totally different universe all-together.

So in the end, I reached KLCC at 9.20. Every other intern has gone up to the briefing, and there were two guys from HR waiting for me (only me) at the lobby. Nice. Haha.

So the briefing was until 11.30 more or less and generally talked about behaviors, dress codes, code of conduct, and the usual first day briefing. Pretty much like any other briefing for any occasion.

Afterward, we were sent to our respective departments. Mine was the Petroleum Economics on level 24, Tower 2. I was in the same department with Kaber. Haha. The two black sheeps of UTP, and we were on the same department. And we were the only interns there.

But at the department, to our surprise, neither of our supervisors were there. They both took the day off. Haha. And the person in-charged with our arrival, the secretary, was also absent. Haha. Therefore, we were stuck in the same cubical for the rest of the day. An entire floor of working professionals, all doing multimillion dollars work at their own cubicle, and we were the only two beings on earth who had to share ours. Haha.

So we pretty much did nothing on the first day. Luckily I found a manual for a Wood Mackenzie Global Economics Model. So I wasted my time by reading the whole manual. Haha.

It was mostly instructions. The whole manual taught you directly how to use the software. Just imagine, it even describe in detail how to delete a file in windows. Haha. But it was very helpful, I would say, to those who really want to learn to use it. Unlike me, who was only trying to burn the candle by reading it.

We finished work at 5.00, and went to the cinemas first. And we watched Prince of Persia. It was the first time for Kaber, but the second for me. But it was still worth it.

So we went our separate ways afterward. I had to go back to KL Central to get the KTM train. But again, the world shits on me. I waited from 9.00 to 10.00. And finally there was the announcement that there would be only one coach for all four routes. WTF?? And my train to Subang Jaya was still in Sentul.

That was the final straw. I went out, and luckily I called my father about the same time I reached KL Central, and he said that he was somewhere near. So I asked him to pick me up there.

Went home, and sleep directly. Did nothing else.
